Simply Charming Club
The Simply Charming Club is a brand new Charm Pack Pattern of the Month Club, brought to you by Me and My Sister Designs. After 25+ years of cutting precuts for their quilt shop (back when precuts were harder to source) and then writing patterns for those precuts, Barb Groves and Mary Jacobson of Me and My Sister Designs decided to create the Simply Charming Club.
Me and My Sister Designs has curated twelve Charm Pack patterns for the inaugural Simply Charming Club. Each month, the Portage Quilt House will host demos for two of the patterns at our shop. The demos are free to attend, and you’ll be eligible to receive the free patterns with any shop purchase on demo day. Enjoy light refreshments while you watch the pattern demos, connect with fellow quilters, and browse our quilt shop. No RSVP or registration necessary.
Already have a Charm Pack (or two or three) in your stash? These patterns are also sold separately for $3.00 each.
Club meetings run from January 2025 through August 2025 (with a break in June and July for the All Michigan Shop Hop).
Monthly meetings will be held at PQH on designated Thursdays and Saturdays. Thursday demos will be at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and Saturday demos will be at 11 a.m.
These small quilts can be wall hangings, table toppers, or baby gifts, or you can repeat the pattern to make a larger throw or bed quilt.
Throughout the year, you can also try your hand at piecing! We’ll have three sewing machines set up in our upstairs classroom—ready and available for you anytime the shop is open.
